My physical portfolio
(As of June 2012)
This document (11″ × 14″ × 2″) is presented alongside my digital portfolio (an interactive Keynote) as my formal portfolio presentation. It contains project guides, process books, fold-out posters, and minor packaging, as well as a tray for resumes and business cards.
This is our Service Design video for Brian Lucid’s Design Research class at MassArt. See the Vimeo page for details. Full writeup coming soon when I get it on my portfolio site. Thanks to my group members!

Flash banners (my first flash experience)
here’s what i have for my flash banners so far. they’re totally killing me. i’ve already had to get help several times on basic mechanics of flash :( it is such a bitch. i have the third banner done, but it’s super wide and would look like shit embedded in this page.
the main remaining issue is size/inability to preload or something. i think it has something to do with the text. i’ve tried both TLF and classic text, but i think there may be further tinkering to do (any suggestions would be welcome). all my banners are in the area of ~80–~90k when they have to be down in the 30–40k range.
they’re on the (very) generic side, but they aren’t too ugly and the point was to get flash experience.
all right i have to go to bed i’m losing it.
EDIT: apparently tumblr doesn’t want you embedding flash in the dash, but it still works fine on my blog. just click my name or thumbnail or click here
… tomorrow i gotta show this interface who’s the boss. lol
